The horses who keep this ranch running deserve their own blog post so here it is! They were probably my favourite part of Canada so I may be biased but I think these guys are stunning! They definitely do their jobs well - they will chase Angus bulls twice their size around a 300 acre pasture, they will rope a calf in an arena, they will drag a calf up for branding, and take the grandkids for a pony ride all in a days work. They may be hardworking gentlemen but they are not too proud to take an apple treat or two after a hard days work, I may have sneaked them an extra one or five...
So here they are
